Important Notice for all patients 65 and older
If you are 65 and older and receive Medicare, please note, we have no relationship with medicare at this time. Your visit is for wellness purposes only and does not fall under the scope of physical therapy services typically provided by participating Medicare providers and non participating medicare providers.
Body Balance Therapies therefore cannot provide a medical superbill receipt for services rendered. Please ask us if you have and questions. Your treatment must be unsolicited and of your own free will agreeing to a voluntary fee for service payment.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out of network provider for all. This means that you will need to pay for your visit when you come in and have your insurance company reimburse you for physical therapy. You may be able to find out in advance what the details of your insurance plan are if you call them and ask about your “out of network” benefits. We are able to provide a superbill if requested.
What to expect?
Arriving at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to your visit is encouraged so that you may change and get settled into the room. Your initial visit consists of a thorough evaluation and discussion of what brought you to Body Balance Therapies and we will also identify how we can assist you in reaching your goals. Each visit is 60 minutes.
What should I wear to treatment?
Ideally to treat using myofascial release technique and to get a true idea of what is going on in the body, skin on skin is better. So, it is preferred that you are comfortably undressed or in loose fitting clothing. We will provide shorts and t-shirt if you forget.
Cancellation/Late Visit Policy
Since your appointment is one to two hours set aside just for you, we request at least 24-hour notice when cancelling so that we may give your spot to someone who is waiting to be seen. If less than 24-hour notice is given a fee may apply. If you are running late, please call! We may be able to reschedule or offer a shortened session.
